Five Ingredient Baked Peaches with Cinnamon Crisp
When peach season comes around, I like to take advantage. While I love eating peaches fresh, baking them creates a whole new texture along with extra sweetness!
You gotta love a recipe that’s is decadent enough to call dessert, but packs enough nutrition from whole grains, fruit and yogurt (if you add it on top!) to justify having it for breakfast!
This recipe will have you feeling just peachy! With only five ingredients, these baked peaches are easy to make and perfect for breakfast or dessert!
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar packed
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 peaches
Preheat oven to 400F.
Slice peaches in half length-wise, twist in two and remove the pit.
Place the peach halves cut side up in a greased baking dish.
Mix oats, sugar, cinnamon and butter together until butter is crumbly. (I find using your hands to mix is the easiest).
Top peaches with oat mixture. Bake for 15-20 minutes, then cool for just a few minutes before servings. Top with ice cream or yogurt.
